Second Cutting
Waller County has the most beautiful pastures in Texas. It’s situated in an ideal microclimate between tropical Houston and semi-arid Washington County. In 2012 the farmers areĀ on-track to get at least 3 cuttings of round bales. And it’s no ordinary hay—it’s as clean and rich as it gets. With drought conditions running from just north of here all the way through the traditional hay-basket of the central states this is a great year to be a hay farmer in Waller County.
