Balloons Over Albuquerque

The best time to ride in a hot air balloon if you must is around sunrise when the wind is calm…

Only in America could a city get away with sending its tourists up in the air. We’re not sure if Albuquerque is trying to send us a message or trying to send us away. But just to be safe I kept my boots on the ground that day. This city is more than enough enchanting at ground level.

Ballooning is eerie-quiet…shocking-beauty…and totally insane.

  1. … Nico, a baloon ride was the one thing I regret not doing in Africa! They cruise at about 50 ft above the animals and end the ride with a bush breakfast (it cost ~$500 back in 2006).
